At the Isenberg School of Management, we are committed to fostering a connected, global, and welcome environment for our students, faculty, and staff. Programs like:

• The Inclusive Leadership Summit is the nexus of our efforts. The ILS brings industry partners, alumni, students, faculty, staff, and community leaders together to share best practices, industry trends, and concerns related to global citizenship in business.
• Student groups such as Women in Business, the Association for Diversity in Business and the Association of Diversity in Sport, just to name a few.

The University offers opportunities for first-year accepted Isenberg students to both learn and live together, helping them form a strong, supportive community from day one at UMass Amherst.

• Isenberg Fellows Residential Academic Program (Fellows RAP)

Other options available to qualifying first-year students include the University Residential Academic Programs and the Commonwealth Honors College Residential Academic Program.

UMass Amherst offers first-year accepted Isenberg students the opportunity to begin their college journey abroad through the Global Launch in Dublin Program. Building global business perspectives while forming close connections with fellow Isenberg classmates, students will study together in Dublin, Ireland, taking a hybrid of University College Dublin and UMass courses during the fall semester. Students will transition to UMass Amherst in the spring semester as part of a strong, supportive community of future business leaders.

Student Experiences 

Isenberg supports its students’ passion for business, social responsibility, and authenticity. Our community includes a wide range of student clubs, including Isenberg Women in Business and the Association of Diversity in Sport, as well as an award-winning chapter of the accounting honors society Beta Alpha Psi. With more than 40 established organizations, it’s easy to find a club to join—and if none of them seem quite right, you can start a new one!

Isenberg Global Citizens represents the collective efforts of the Isenberg School of Management to positively impact the community. Through volunteering and team activities, young professionals are exposed to the principles of corporate social responsibility well before starting their careers. Sponsored by the undergraduate office, the program formally recognizes business students for their commitment to both service and integrity.

Not only does Isenberg host events like the Inclusive Leadership Summit and A Conversation With... (intimate gathering of students with top CEO alumni), but our students also host marque events like the Women of Isenberg conference, the Sport Leaders Forum, Women in Finance Luncheon, and HTM Career Day.
