Organizations are seeking leaders with strong foundations in management, leadership, and decision-making. The job outlook in general management and organizational leadership is positive, with a 10-year employment growth forecast ranging from 5 to 10 percent, compared to overall job growth of 2.8 percent.
This 30-credit program is designed to fit your schedule. It can be completed in one year full-time or two years part-time. All courses are offered online and on-campus (HR and Arts Administration concentration courses are presently offered only online). Classes are offered fall, winter, spring and summer.
UMass Amherst undergraduates and students from colleges within the Five College Consortium can take advantage of Isenberg's 4+1 programs, earning both a bachelor's and a master's degree in as little as five years. Eligible programs include the Master of Finance (MF), Master of Science in Accounting (MSA), Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA), and Master of Science in Management (MSM).
UMass Amherst students may also qualify for an accelerated option, allowing them to complete both degrees in fewer than five years. Students are encouraged to apply to their chosen master's program during their junior year or early in their senior year to maximize the benefits of the 4+1 pathway.

Isenberg offers students in-person weekend and evening opportunities at UMass Amherst’s Charles River Campus in Newton, Mass. Newton is close to the greater Boston area, home to one of the world’s leading life sciences clusters, a major financial center, and many consulting and professional service firms.
The MS in Business Analytics is offered as a 1-year full-time program, on-campus at the Charles River Campus. Starting in Fall 2026, an expanded set of courses from the MBA, MS in Accounting, and MS in Management will be offered during the weekday evenings and on select Saturdays.
