Your MBA. Your career path.
Isenberg provides a comprehensive career development program that aligns with our high-quality academic curriculum. We begin with the three-day Leadership Orientation Session, where students engage in intensive work on presentation skills, resume writing, and team-building exercises so they can start networking and taking charge of their career development from day one. You’ll meet your career coaches during this session and learn about IConnect, the online career and professional development platform hosted by Isenberg’s Office of Career Success. The Office of Career Success offers a series of career and professional development workshops throughout your time in the MBA program to provide the resources and individualized support you need as you pursue your career plan.
Kick off your MBA experience with the three-day David C. O'Leary '81 MBA Leadership Orientation Program. Students are immersed in resume and cover letter writing, personal branding and pitches, mock interviews, and networking strategies – both online and in person. The program culminates in a networking event and panel discussion led by Isenberg senior-level alumni and attended by MBA alums, both recent and established.
As an Isenberg MBA student, you will have direct access to career coaches who can help you with everything from determining your ideal career, to personalized job searches, to social media profiles and professional communications. Our career coaches and MBA program staff are available to support you during your professional development journey and connect you with the extensive network of Isenberg MBA alumni.
Isenberg MBA career workshops are innovative and comprehensive, covering topics, such as life and career design, effective interviewing, job search strategies, and recruiting for international students. We host panels of industry-specific speakers and alumni. Our workshops and panels are designed to give you the right preparation when you need it, with recordings and digital assets always available for your review.
