Business in China
Through readings, class discussions, and a research paper, students will learn about Chinese culture and history, the emerging power of the Chinese economy in the world marketplace, and how current experts approach doing business in China with its unique culture and history. The itinerary will include several major cities such as: Beijing, Shanghai, and Hangzhou, visiting businesses to learn firsthand how they operate and how to interact with managers. There will also be visits to famous cultural attractions such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and West Lake.
