Application Information
Admissions into the Isenberg School of Management is administered through the University of Massachusetts Amherst Undergraduate Admissions Office.
High School Students and Transfer Students
High school students applying to the University of Massachusetts Amherst who want to be considered for the Isenberg School should list their intended major on their Common Application to the University. Please review the Freshman Admissions Requirements to assist in the application process.
Transfer students applying to the University of Massachusetts Amherst who want to be considered for the Isenberg School should list their intended major on their Common Application to the University. Please utilize these Admissions Requirements to assist in the application process. Prospective students can also use the UMass Amherst Community College Connection, which is especially designed for community college graduates who participated in a Joint Admissions or MassTransfer program at a Massachusetts community college.
Current UMass Students
A current UMass Amherst student who is interested in applying to a degree program within Isenberg should attend an information session. Applications are required for all programs. More information on the application process can be found here.

UMass Exploratory Track
Starting Fall 2015, the University is implementing an Exploratory Track Program for all students who have been accepted for admission to the University as an Undeclared major. The Exploratory Track program will assist students with their consideration and ultimate declaration of a major based on their interest, eligibility, and academic proficiency. Learn more
Due to the concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Isenberg School of Management is suspending all in-person tours beginning Monday, March 16, 2020. We will continue to reassess the situation with COVID-19 and resume tours if the situation allows. Thank you for your understanding.
The Isenberg School offers seven academic disciplines and two degree programs with many course and degree options.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
If you wish to pursue a BBA degree, please select one of these majors or Business as your first choice intended major on your application. Admitted students can choose a major during the first semester of their first year.
Bachelor of Science (BS)
If you wish to pursue a BS degree, please select one of these programs as your first choice intended major on your application. Students are admitted directly into these majors during the first semester of their first year.
