McGuirk Alumni Stadium, UMass Amherst

The University Commencement is UMass Amherst’s official, large graduation ceremony. It is held outdoors, rain or shine, and includes graduates from all majors on campus. The university website posts information as it becomes available about planning your visit and information for seniors, such as how to get a cap and gown, how to arrange senior portraits, etc.

Isenberg Senior Celebration

Saturday, May 16, 2026
9 a.m.

Mullins Center, UMass Amherst

At this ceremony, Isenberg recognizes graduates from our 7 undergraduate departments and programs in a personalized way. Graduates receive a university commemorative medal and have their name announced as they cross the stage and are congratulated by college leaders. Each graduate’s time on stage is visible on jumbo video screens and captured by a professional photographer.

Visit the UStore in the North Lobby of the Mullins Center to purchase Isenberg Swag for your graduate!

Guests Details:

  • This is a ticketed event due to space limitations. Ticketing information will be added once an announcement is made by the university.
  • Doors to the Mullins Center will open at 8 a.m. Guests should have their ticket ready and enter the Mullins Center via the north end of the building (across from the practice rink).
