The recognition continues a pattern of Isenberg faculty appearing in global rankings of highly cited researchers. Isenberg faculty were also recently named among the world’s most-cited scientists.

“This news reflects the reach and influence of the scholarship produced by Isenberg faculty,” said Fousseni Chabi-Yo, PhD, Isenberg’s associate dean of research and PhD programs, professor of finance, and the Berthiaume Endowed Professor in Business Administration. “Being widely cited means that other scholars are engaging with their work, building on their ideas, and advancing research in their fields. That kind of contribution is at the heart of the research culture we foster at Isenberg.”

Five Isenberg faculty members were named to this year’s Research.com ranking:

  • Thomas G. Brashear Alejandro, PhD, associate professor of marketing
  • Charles C. Manz, PhD, professor emeritus of management
  • George Milne, PhD, the Edward D. Shirley ’78 Endowed Professor of Marketing
  • Anna Nagurney, PhD, the Eugene M. Isenberg Chair in Integrative Studies, PhD coordinator in management science, and professor of operations and information management
  • Muzzo Uysal, Carney Family Endowed Professor of hospitality and tourism management

Research.com’s World Best Scientists rankings evaluate researchers based on their body of work and how often that research is cited by other scholars in the same academic field.
