In Massachusetts alone there are more than 15,000 arts organizations, and nationally the arts are a trillion dollar industry. This concentration equips students with core management skills applied specifically to arts and cultural contexts such as museums, theaters, performing arts companies, and community arts programs. Students will learn valuable skills such as :

  • strategic planning, budgeting, marketing, and organizational leadership
  • applying for grants and other fundraising techniques
  • planning innovative and exciting cultural programs
