Isenberg’s MS in Accounting — the top-ranked program in New England and one of a select few to achieve the prestigious AACSB accreditation in accounting — prepares you for the best jobs in accounting, in a way that fits your lifestyle. Working with internationally recognized faculty in accounting and auditing, you will learn to apply real-world solutions and practices through a progressive curriculum committed to team-based learning and hands-on problem solving. The knowledge you gain in the program will fulfill the educational requirements to become a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Massachusetts.
If you already have an undergraduate degree in accounting, our Professional Track will immerse you in advanced coursework immediately, where you will learn skills that are applicable to your current job and position you for growth or a specific focus in the fields of accounting or auditing.
Interested in switching to a career in accounting or auditing? Our Transitions Track is designed specifically for students with non-accounting backgrounds. This curriculum begins with foundational courses that prepare you for the advanced concepts introduced later in the program.
The MS Accounting program at the Isenberg School of Management meets the education requirements for CPA licensure in the state of Massachusetts. Our program does not assert that it meets licensure/certification requirements of any state other than Massachusetts, and individuals who are seeking CPA licensure in another state should contact one of our Program Information Specialists for more information. Access to your state’s licensing agency is available on the CPA Licensure Directory.
