Jennifer Roy
Associate Department Chair | Graduate Faculty Director, MS Accounting | Senior Lecturer
Jennifer E. Roy, CPA, JD, is the associate chair of the Department of Accounting and the graduate faculty director for the Master of Science in Accounting program. In these roles, Roy oversees department operations, the undergraduate student experience, while guiding curriculum and strategy for the MSA program. A member of the Isenberg faculty since 2016, Roy teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in taxation and business law and chairs the department's Curriculum Committee. Deeply committed to student success, Roy is an advisor for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program for the community, co-founded the Alliance for Women in Accounting, and has coached UMass teams to multiple first-place finishes in the Deloitte FanTAXtic regional case competition. Roy is a licensed CPA and attorney in Massachusetts.
