How do I declare my major within Isenberg?
Students are admitted into Isenberg as PR-SOM, Accounting, Finance, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Management, Marketing, Operations & Information Management, or Sport Management majors.
PR-SOM:
Students in PR-SOM must declare a major in the BBA program (Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Operations & Information Management) by the end of their Sophomore year. Declaration of the major can happen at any time prior to the end of sophomore year once the student knows their intended major. Students may declare their major at the Isenberg Undergraduate Programs Office in N230 or by emailing us at undergrad@isenberg.umass.edu. Although students may not double major in two BBA programs they can double major in one BBA and one BS major (Hospitality & Tourism Management or Sport Management). Please note the following:
- Students in PR-SOM must declare a BBA major by the end of their sophomore year but are encouraged to declare as soon as possible.
- Students in any BBA or Sport Management majors may add Hospitality & Tourism Management as their secondary major.
- Isenberg students in any of the BS majors who are interested in double majoring with a BBA major must apply through the competitive on-campus admissions process.
- Students in the BBA or Hospitality & Tourism Management majors must apply to Sport Management through the competitive on-campus application process.
Hospitality & Tourism Management Major:
Any Isenberg student can declare Hospitality & Tourism Management as a secondary major by contacting the Isenberg Undergraduate Programs Office in Isenberg Room N230.
