Over the past three years, we at UMass Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management have expanded our graduate portfolio in ways that ensure our students and alumni lead with adaptability and foresight amid a dramatically shifting business landscape. With advances in artificial intelligence, data-driven decision making, and evolving workforce expectations, today’s professionals face complex business challenges—and we’re preparing our graduate students to meet all those challenges head-on with a variety of certificate and master’s degree programs.

This semester, we launched our newest offering—the Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence (AI). The program is designed to not only teach AI tools and strategies but to also explore the ethical and legal dimensions of emerging technologies.

Programs Designed for Tomorrow’s Challenges

Across all our latest graduate program offerings, one theme stands out: Isenberg is preparing professionals for the demands of a workforce that is transformed by technology, data, and innovation. Other recently launched certificates and degrees include:

Our innovations aren’t going unnoticed: In the 2025 U.S. News & World Report rankings, Isenberg’s online MS in Accounting and MS in Business Analytics both ranked in the top five nationally, while the Online MBA earned a strong #16 overall in the country and #1 public in the Northeast.

At Isenberg, we believe the future of work demands leaders who can think critically, act ethically, and encourage others to embrace innovation. That’s why our graduate programs are designed to not only educate, but also to inspire impact.

Best wishes,

Dean Massey
