This four-course certificate will help you understand and speak the language of business—and best of all, you can do so in a way that's flexible and manageable. All classes are taught online so you can fit studies into your life’s busy schedule. You will virtually-meet and engage with fellow students online over the course material, while being taught by and having access to Isenberg’s world-class faculty.
The Graduate Certificate in Foundations of Management provides marketable skills that are expected in today’s business organizations. The certificate provides a foundation on which to build this professional growth, and it also makes furthering your education even easier. All credits earned in the certificate program are transferable to our Online MBA or MS in Business Analytics programs, giving you a 12-13-credit head-start on your master’s degree.
COURSEWORK
Earn your certificate in 12-13 credits at the graduate-level by completing two core required courses and two elective courses:

- SCH-MGMT 660 Marketing Strategy
- SCH-MGMT 680 Leadership and Organizational Behavior
Elective Courses (choose 2, totaling 6-7 credits)
- SCH-MGMT 601 - Data Management for Business Leaders (3 credits)
- SCH-MGMT 633 - Financial & Managerial Accounting (4 credits)
- SCH-MGMT 641 - Fundamental Principles of Financial Management (3 credits)
- SCH-MGMT 656 - Project Management (3 credits)
- SCH-MGMT 770 - Human Resources (3 credits)
HOW TO APPLY
You may begin the program in fall, spring, or summer. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Successful applicants will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or be currently enrolled in their final
semester. All applicants must submit the following:
- Application
- Unofficial transcript
- Resume/CV
- Personal statement (a brief 1-page statement describing your goals and why you want to pursue the certificate)
- For non-native English speakers only: English language proficiency scores
TUITION
Certificate classes are $925 per credit. The total tuition for 12 credits is $11,100 and total tuition for 13 credits certificate is $12,025. Books, supplies, and registration fee are additional.
