Multilingualism & Neurodivergence: A UDL-Centered Framework
The Office of Access, Collaboration, and Engagement for Success (ACES) presents a four-part, UDL-centered, Lunch & Learn series that prepares faculty to recognize the intersecting strengths and challenges of multilingual and neurodivergent students and to develop practical, classroom-ready strategies for fostering more inclusive learning environments. Through interactive sessions, participants will build foundational knowledge, practice equitable grouping and assignment design, and leave with concrete tools to reduce barriers to participation and learning.
This series consists of four Lunch & Learn sessions, held every two weeks on Mondays at noon. This is a continuous series. Faculty who attend all four sessions will receive a certificate of completion through the Office of ACES. There is no remote option for attendance, but sessions will be recorded for viewing later. Light lunch will be provided.
The discussions are designed around preliminary work on the intersections of multilingualism & neurodivergence through an accessibility lens based on supplemental materials & foundational research.
