All UMass Amherst alumni can enjoy a 10 percent savings on course tuition toward their Isenberg Master of Finance degree. 

Military Benefits 

UMass Amherst is committed to providing support and assistance to military students, veterans, and their families. If you are on active duty or are a veteran and you wish to use your military benefits to pay for your educational expenses, please contact the Veteran Services Office as soon as possible.

Each course requires materials such as textbooks, course packs, journals, and publications. The average cost for materials per course is $100.

Students may have their tuition billed to a third-party sponsor, such as their employer. Third parties cannot be billed directly if payment is conditional (contingent on grades, for example). Find more information here.

Fees

$507 one-time graduate entering fee

$85 registration fee per semester (fall, winter, spring, summer)

$80 graduate senate tax per semester (fall and spring) 

$428 student health fee per semester (fall and spring) 

$925 (1-credit) fee for students pursing the Field Experience Concentration

An estimated cost of all other associated fees (housing, meals, etc.) can be found on the UMass Amherst Graduate Costs webpage. Please disregard tuition estimates on the UMass Amherst webpage and refer to the tuition listed on this page.

Students are welcome to pursue on-campus, part-time employment. Graduate assistantships may be available from other on-campus departments, but will not cover tuition and fees.

Students interested in federal financial aid must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Include federal school code 002221 under School Selection. UMass Amherst offers additional financial support information, including on how to apply for a Graduate PLUS loan, through the Financial Aid Office.

Massachusetts requires on-campus college students to have comprehensive health insurance. Students taking five or more credits are automatically enrolled in the individual SHBP each semester and charged on the semester's tuition bill. If you plan to use private health insurance instead of the SHBP, you must waive the SHBP by the add/drop deadline. The waivable SHBP is currently $2,054.50 per semester.
