Alumni Gather for Celebratory Reunion Weekend
More than a hundred people attended various 50th Anniversary Celebration events, which included a golf outing, lectures from McCormack faculty describing their industry-changing academic research, a panel discussion on the 50th anniversary of Title IX, and a celebratory banquet dinner.

On June 11th and 12th, 2022, the McCormack Department of Sport Management celebrated its 50th anniversary of the program. “We’re excited to celebrate this big milestone with many of the department’s friends, graduates, and current and former faculty members,” said Steve McKelvey, professor and current chair of the department. Attendees joined in golf, faculty discussions, caught up with old friends, and celebrated alumni award winners at a formal banquet held at the Mullins Center. View full album here.
