How did you choose Isenberg and UMass Amherst?

I believed that I would be able to access opportunities here that I wouldn’t have been able to at other schools. UMass and Isenberg have amazing resources that have helped me build a great foundation.

How did you choose this combination of majors?

I initially chose my management major and concentration because it combined both people and the law. Through my gen ed courses I was introduced to Legal Studies. I added it as a second major because I’ve always enjoyed learning about the legal system and how it impacts Americans.

What have your favorite classes and experiences at Isenberg been so far?

My favorite classes so far have been Introduction to Law with Frank Caruso and New Venture Organization and Growth with Charles Johnson. My favorite experience at Isenberg was rebooting and running the Isenberg Management Association (IMA) alongside Evan Stotsky. It allowed me to forge great relationships with my peers but also professors like Jennifer Merton, Nicki Amos, and Carlos Valladares.

What clubs and extracurriculars do you participate in?

During my time serving as co-CEO for the IMA, I partnered with faculty to relaunch the association and restore its presence and relevance on campus, while designing and leading in‑depth student workshops on résumé building, interview preparation, and core management skills to equip members for academic and early‑career success.

Have you had any jobs or internships during college?

Yes, I’ve had quite a few! I started working at UMass Catering in the fall semester of my freshman year and am still currently working there. I was an intern with the Campus Facilities and Services Human Resources department in my sophomore year. In the summer of sophomore year, I started an internship with Blueprint Medicines, a Sanofi company. I have been with their Talent Acquisition team year-round since. I have taken on a second Blueprint internship with the Internal Communications team. Lastly, I work for a local firefighter’s union as a records and administrative assistant.

What are you planning after graduation?

I will start my full-time contract with Blueprint after I graduate. I am also considering pursuing law school in the next few years.

If you could go back and give your first-year self some advice, what would you tell them?

I would tell myself to relax a little and take my time in college a little slower. It seems like these years have flown by.

Do you have a mentor from the Isenberg community who has helped shape your experience?

Absolutely—Jennifer Merton has guided me through my years at Isenberg. I have truly enjoyed her mentorship and look forward to continuing after I graduate.
