Undergraduate and graduate students from Isenberg and other UMass Amherst students will benefit from the knowledge presented at the Inclusive Leadership Summit.

Students will attend panels and a keynote speaker presentation by professional thought leaders on inclusion and diversity. There is also an opportunity for all students to participate in a case competition, network with sponsor companies, and earn a certificate of completion.

Certificate of Completion

To earn the Certificate of Completion students must attend

the keynote presentation,

2 or more panels,

participate in the company meet and greet session

and participate in the case competition.

Case Competition

The ILS Case Competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate students attending the Inclusive Leadership Summit presented by Isenberg and EY. For students looking to obtain an Inclusive Leadership Summit Certificate of Completion, they must participate in this case competition.

The case competition will challenge students to better understand the thinking around inclusion and diversity in the workplace. The case, as provided by EY, asks teams of 3-4 students to demonstrate critical thinking, strong presentation skills, teamwork, and time management.

Team up with fellow students to discuss and solve real-world inclusion issues. You will take away a deeper understanding of inclusion and diversity in the workplace, stronger presentation skills, professionalism, and a larger network of relationships. A cash prize of $250 will be awarded to each member of the winning team and $100 to each member of the runner-up team.

What do you need to do?

Sign up! You may put together your own team of 3-4 students (keep in mind this is a case competition on inclusion and diversity when building your team) or just sign up and we will put together your team.

There will be a kick-off event at the beginning of the summit, then teams will put together their case recommendations using the knowledge they've gained from the presentations.

Teams will present to judges in a semi-final and then a select number of teams will move on to the final.
