HTM Career Day Committee
The HTM Career Day Committee is a gateway to many excellent opportunities. These include forming relationships with faculty and students, communicating with industry recruiters and leaders, and gaining experience on how to execute successful career fair events.
The committee is made up of Operations, Marketing, and External Relations teams, who are led by two co-chairs. Students are able to gain hands-on experience in large-scale event planning while immersed in their specific roles. Our Operations team focuses on facilities and food & beverage by formulating floor plans for all events, communicating with campus partners and local donors, brainstorming menu items, and determining décor. Our Marketing team is centered around the branding and promotion of our events through constant media postings, collateral design and layout, and scheming the colors/fonts for our brand. Lastly, our External Relations team handles all communications and registration with recruiters and students, along with building and maintaining relationships with companies from all over the country.
This year, the committee is thrilled to have organized an event with 50 companies from all areas of the industry. To be a part of next year’s committee and become more involved in the HTM department, look for applications later this spring!
