Nicole M. Amos

Nicki (Dion) Amos teaches undergraduate and graduate human resource management courses, as well as principles of management. She earned a PhD in Organizational Leadership from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and an MBA from Isenberg. Before moving into higher education, she spent 15 years in employee development and leadership roles across the finance, insurance, and healthcare industries, and she holds the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification. Her research centers on employee motivation, satisfaction, retention, and development and how organizational culture shapes performance—the same questions she encounters in her consulting work with nonprofits and small businesses. She turns those engagements into original case studies, bringing the problems organizations actually face directly into her classroom. Amos serves as faculty advisor to Isenberg's student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and to the Isenberg Management Association student club.
