Matthew D. Langenkamp is a Lecturer in Management at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Co-Director of the Isenberg Consulting Academy. He teaches business policy and strategy, international management, global business, and management consulting. Before joining Isenberg, he spent nearly three decades working outside the United States in Asia Pacific and Australasia, including roles in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, consumer and beverage industry coverage, general management, and business ownership in New Zealand. His interests include international business, corporate strategy, United States-PRC trade policy, auction theory, mergers and acquisitions in the beverage industry, and real estate valuation. His current research examines construction and farm equipment markets, with particular attention to price discovery, liquidity, trust, and the effects of online auction platforms.
