Academic Advising Interests: I love helping students organize their academic goals into an achievable graduation plan. When students have multiple aspirations and feel overwhelmed with options, I like helping them to prioritize and plan.
Previous work experience: Education has always been a passion of mine, and I’ve enjoyed working with students in multiple settings throughout my career. I taught middle school for 15 years. I worked in Special Education in Boston, supported students with emotional & behavioral challenges in Lexington, and taught English in Northfield and Brattleboro. I also worked part time as an Outdoor Educator on a ropes course for 9 years.
Interests, hobbies, fave activities: I enjoy walking, hiking, rollerblading, crafting, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and spending time with my 8-year-old. I’m happiest when I’m with my family.
Hometown: I grew up in Worcester, MA, but Somerville and Arlington were my favorite places to live. I spent about 10 years there after college.
