Lina Han, PhD is an assistant professor of finance at the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her research focuses on investments and geopolitical risk. Her work has been published in leading finance journals, including the Journal of Financial Economics and the Review of Financial Studies. Han has been featured in major media outlets such as the Financial Times, The New York Times, Bloomberg, and CNN. She received her PhD in finance from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to pursuing her PhD, she worked as a quantitative trader and risk analyst at a high-frequency trading firm in Chicago.
