Indika Dissanayake is an Associate Professor in the Operations and Information Management department at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst. She received her Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her research interests include crowdsourcing and the gig economy, with a focus on platform dynamics, coordination mechanisms, and the future of work. Her research has appeared in journals such as Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Information & Management, and Information Systems Management.
