Honggi Lee
Assistant Professor
Honggi Lee’s research explores various factors that influence production and diffusion of novel and high-quality inventions and their effects on firm performance and technological change. He also studies how institutional environments shape organizational structure as well as the rate and direction of inventive activity. Lee frequently leverages large-scale patent and firm data to study questions relevant to these areas in the context of corporate innovation and entrepreneurial strategy.
Lee holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, and a PhD in Business Administration from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
