Carey Baldwin

Carey Baldwin is a Senior Lecturer in the Operations and Information Management department at the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst, and Faculty Director of the Master’s in Business Analytics (MSBA) program. With more than 15 years of combined experience in data science and education, she develops industry-aligned curricula in Python, statistical modeling, and machine learning at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She is also CEO of Green Line Analytics, providing statistical consulting to business and academic clients, and co-directs the Isenberg Insurance Academy, which connects students with industry partners. Her current work focuses on developing customized analytics solutions and translating results for executive and professional audiences, including multi-day workshops customized for clients in the finance domain. Carey holds an M.A.S. in Applied Statistics from Colorado State University and a B.A. in Physics from Mount Holyoke College, and is the recipient of the ADVANCE Mentoring Award (2026) and the Isenberg Teaching Excellence Award (2024).
