What influenced your decision to join this program? What influenced your decision to join this program?

I made my decision to join Isenberg's MSA program for multiple reasons. Besides the fact that I wanted to go graduate school to acquire my 150 credit hours, I discovered from researching the program how highly regarded the Isenberg school of business is. I enjoyed that this applied not only in undergraduate but also in the graduate school. Additionally, I was impressed by the reviews from alumni and that Isenberg as well as the accounting program had AACSB accreditation. Financially, I would receive in-state tuition which helped make my decision a no-brainer.

What do you think are the key factors in gaining the most from your time in the program?

I believe there are numerous key factors in gaining the most from my time in the MSA program. The first factor is to utilize the career center's resources, such as IsenbergWorks and Big Interview. Secondly, staying organized so I am able to complete my assignments ahead of time to ask questions if need be. Finally, the hands-on approach in the classroom will solidify my skills before I enter the real-world.

How do you plan to use your degree after graduation?

I plan to use my degree after graduation to become a certified public accountant. I believe the MSA curriculum will prepare me to succeed in each section of the CPA exam.

How did you hear about Isenberg's graduate programs?

Former professors and friends

What advice would you give to a prospective student considering a graduate degree at Isenberg?

Although I have not been in this program very long, I would tell prospective students that Isenberg offers a wide variety of benefits that you cannot find at many competing universities.
