Altan Pazarbasi is an assistant professor of finance at the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. His research focuses on asset pricing, macro-finance, and investments. Before joining UMass

Altan Pazarbasi is an assistant professor of finance at the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. His research focuses on asset pricing, macro-finance, and investments. Before joining UMass Amherst, Altan was an assistant professor of finance at Bilkent University and a visiting assistant professor of finance at the University of Iowa. He holds a PhD in Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Bogazici University. Prior to joining academia, he also worked in the industry as a research analyst, fund manager, and consultant. Altan is a CFA charterholder.
