This year's 4th annual Isenberg Business Leadership Awards, held at the Colonnade Hotel and Boston and attracting 330 members of the Isenberg community, honored Chuck and Karen Peters of New England Wire Products and Recent Alumni awardee Brian Tino, account executive at InVision.
Isenberg economist and Professor of Operations and Information Management Robert Nakosteen discussed the implications of Britain’s Brexit vote on a morning-after interview with WBUR in Boston. Professor Nakosteen addressed the Brexit’s likely impact on financial markets, including pension funds. He also reflected on its influence on Massachusetts’ trade relations with Europe and the costs and benefits of a stronger dollar.
“Before Isenberg, most everything I knew about management was ‘the government way,’ observes Alexander Haldopoulos, a Colonel with the Massachusetts Air National Guard at Barnes ANGB in Westfield. “I craved to add a civilian business mindset to my skills,” continues the Colonel, who will complete his Part-time MBA degree from Isenberg this fall.
