On March 19, Isenberg will host a day of panels and speakers exploring the customer relationship management (CRM) platform, Salesforce. At the event, Salesforce executives will survey the skills required by Salesforce practitioners and explain how students can get started with the platform.

“Since the Salesforce CRM is widely used in work settings and many modern-day business decisions are made in a CRM environment, having the opportunity for students to meet with Salesforce representatives and experience the product one-on-one with trainers is very beneficial,” says Jennifer Meunier, the director of marketing strategy and communications for Isenberg’s Graduate and Professional Programs.

The event will introduce the “trailhead”—online tutorials that coach beginners and intermediate developers. Students will also learn about CRM evaluation, vendor management, and purchasing and procuring with the Salesforce program suite.

The event’s keynote speakers—the company’s VP of Innovation and its Chief Enterprise Strategist—will examine leadership in a digitally disrupted world. And a career-focused panel (including Salesforce clients) coupled with a networking event with industry professionals will introduce students to Salesforce-related opportunities in business.

Isenberg Salesforce Day, which runs from 10 am to 5 pm for students, will take place at Isenberg and in the Old Chapel’s Great Hall. For more information, visit the event’s landing page.
