In new rankings published by U.S. News & World Report today, Isenberg’s Online MS in Accounting and Online MS in Business Analytics programs were ranked number 9 among non-MBA online business graduate degrees, an improvement of three places from 2022. Isenberg’s Online MBA program maintained its rank of 12th overall from 2022. The school’s Online Bachelor’s Degree in business ranked number 3, up one place from 2022.
“It’s great to see our online non-MBA business degree programs gain recognition and move up the rankings,” says Anne Massey, dean of the Isenberg School of Management. “And it’s wonderful that our groundbreaking Online MBA program continues to stay so relevant. For more than two decades, Isenberg has been helping business leaders with busy personal and professional lives achieve their goals by serving them high quality classes online, taught by our wonderful faculty members. Doctors, bankers, teachers, and executives come to us for master’s degrees in business—we’re thrilled to have U.S. News & World Report affirm the value of these Isenberg degree programs.”
U.S. News establishes the rankings based on a number of factors, including how programs promote participation in courses and interactions with instructors and classmates; allow flexibility in learning; and provide learning assistance, career guidance, and financial aid resources. Programs are asked to report on the credentials of their faculty members and special training they receive in teaching online, student retention and graduation rates, and class sizes; student quality is measured by undergraduate GPAs and work experience. U.S. News also conducts a survey of high-ranking academic officials at MBA programs, asking them to share their opinions about peer schools’ online MBA programs.
Isenberg has used the expertise gained making the Online MBA one of the best in the world to inform the development of its other online graduate business programs, says Traci Hess, associate dean of graduate programs and Douglas & Diana Berthiaume Endowed Professor of Information Systems. “We are thrilled to have our MS in Accounting and MS in Business Analytics programs recognized among the top non-MBA business degrees. It’s great to see the efforts of our faculty, advisors and career counselors reflected in these rankings.”
