Isenberg Expands Graduate Offerings with Fully Online Certificate in AI

Isenberg is launching a new 12-credit Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence (AI) this fall. This fully online program is designed to meet the growing demand for business leaders who are skilled in integrating AI strategies, tools, and technologies in business.

“We are thrilled to offer this graduate certificate,” said Nikunj Kapadia, Isenberg’s associate dean of graduate programs. “This program reflects our commitment to providing relevant, high-quality education that prepares professionals for leadership roles in artificial intelligence across industries.”

The Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence—the fifth in Isenberg’s growing portfolio of graduate certificates—will prepare professionals to harness the power of machine learning and stay ahead of evolving trends in the business application of AI. The curriculum emphasizes not only technical and strategic integration of AI models into business decision-making, but also the critical ethical and legal considerations that come with adopting AI in the workplace.

The first course—Business Applications with Python—will give students a foundation in programming, with a focus on business and analytics applications. Students can further build their skills and knowledge by choosing three of the following electives: Machine Learning; Applications of AI Models in Business; Generative AI: Business Applications and Strategy; and Navigating AI: Business Strategies, Legal Boundaries and Ethical Dilemmas.

Credits earned in the certificate are transferable to the business analytics focus of the MBA (online and on-campus) and the MS in Business Analytics program, giving students a 12-credit head-start on a master’s degree.

Isenberg already offers graduate certificates in forensic accounting, business analytics, foundations of management, and project management.
