I was a Future Sales Leader this summer for Frito Lay. I was helping Frito Lay sell their products in grocery stores and helping to boost workforce morale.

WHAT HAS YOUR EXPERIENCE BEEN LIKE AND WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED?

My experience has been great. As an intern for Frito Lay I have been sent to NYC, the PepsiCo Headquarters in Purchase, NY and Las Vegas to report to national Frito Lay employees. I have learned key selling skills as well as how Frito Lay runs as a company.

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR OTHER STUDENTS?

Always follow up on interviews. A thank you email goes a long way. It helps you stand out from the crowd.
