Starting this fall, the Isenberg School of Management is offering new graduate-level learning opportunities at UMass Amherst’s Charles River Campus (CRC) in Newton, Mass.

Since 2019, students have been able to pursue Isenberg’s MS in Business Analytics in- person at the CRC, with classes designed to accommodate working professionals. Isenberg has expanded its in-person offerings as of this fall, with select courses available to MBA, MS in Management, and MS in Accounting students on weekday evenings and Saturdays. These courses give students new opportunities to learn alongside their peers, connect with Isenberg faculty, and engage with the vibrant business community in and around Boston.  

“We’re excited to bring more of the Isenberg experience to the CRC and create new pathways for students to advance their careers while remaining connected to one of the nation’s leading public business schools,” said Traci Hess, PhD, senior associate dean for graduate education and professional programs and the Douglas and Diana Berthiaume endowed professor of information systems.

The growth in learning and networking opportunities at CRC complements Isenberg’s longstanding hybrid MBA in-person classes offered in person at its satellite location in downtown Boston. 

Graduate courses offered at CRC this fall include Database Management for Analytics, Project Management, Leadership and Organizational Behavior, and Business Applications of Python. Spring offerings will include Generative AI: Business Applications and Strategy, Supply Chain Analytics, and Machine Learning in Business. In addition, industry panels, networking events, and career development workshops will be offered each month in the Boston area for Isenberg students and alumni. 

“This expanded offering at the Charles River Campus is about access, connection, and impact,” said Isenberg Dean Anne Massey, PhD. “By increasing our presence in the greater Boston area, we’re creating new opportunities for students to learn from world-class faculty, engage with industry, and become part of a thriving professional community.”
