Antonetti has been with the Indians for 18 seasons, starting in 1998 after graduating from the department of sport management in 1997. He has served as an executive in baseball operations for the Indians the past six seasons, donning the title of General Manager before being promoted to President in 2015.

He led the Indians to a 2016 World Series with a couple of key strategic moves, most importantly trading with the Yankees to get coveted reliever Andrew Miller which proved to be crucial to their successful post-season run. Despite losing to the Chicago Cubs in Game 7, Antonetti’s Indians are positioned for success in years to come.

Antonetti is one of four McCormack alums who have worn the “General Manager” title, joined by Dave Littlefield, Neal Huntington, and Ben Cherington. Antonetti is one of four McCormack alumni who currently work in the Indians’ front office.
