For the first time, Isenberg’s Department of Accounting has earned rankings in Public Accounting Report’s annual roster of the top 50 undergraduate accounting and master’s degree programs. Based on a national survey of accounting professors, the survey ranked Isenberg 25th in the nation among undergraduate programs and 30th among master’s programs.

In the Northeast, Isenberg’s undergraduate program ranked 3rd, behind Wharton and Penn State. At the same time, its MSA program ranked 4th, behind NYU, Penn State, and Bentley.

Among programs with 17 or fewer full-time accounting professors, Isenberg’s undergraduate program ranked 2nd in the nation; its MSA program ranked 4th.

Nearly 1,000 accounting professors from 200 U.S. colleges and universities that offer accounting degrees participated in the survey, now in its 36th year. Among the participants, 92% were full-time professors, 76% of them with tenure or tenure track positions.
