At Isenberg, we’re committed to preparing graduates not just for their first job, but for meaningful careers and leadership over a lifetime. This year, the generosity of our students, alumni, and friends helped bring that mission to life.

Because of this support, more students accessed scholarships that make an Isenberg education possible. Our faculty pushed the boundaries of research that drives progress in business and society. And our programs continued to evolve—offering real-world learning experiences that equip students to lead in a dynamic, ever-changing world.

Thanks to thousands of donors like you, we raised millions in support of Isenberg. Your contributions power everything we do. They help us recruit exceptional students, sustain faculty excellence, and foster learning environments grounded in innovation, inclusion, and collaboration. Every gift matters—and together, we are building a stronger Isenberg and shaping a brighter future.

Thank you for being part of this incredible momentum. I invite you to explore how your support is making a real impact—and to take pride in all we’ve accomplished together.

Thank you again,

Anne Massey

How your generosity makes an impact

Keeping Opportunity in Reach for All Students

Each year, scholarships play a transformative role in the lives of Isenberg students by easing financial burdens and enabling greater focus on academics and career opportunities. Over the past five years, your generosity has fueled a 6 percent increase in the number of scholarships available and a 54 percent increase in total scholarship funding!

The Isenberg Dean’s Academy

As part of Isenberg’s effort to attract and support exceptional students, Dean Massey invites approximately 30 newly admitted students annually to join the Isenberg Dean’s Academy. Funded by donations to the Dean’s Fund for Excellence, this signature program supports and elevates Isenberg’s most high-achieving incoming students.

Enabling Hands-On Professional Development Experiences

Thanks to your support, students are gaining access to extracurricular opportunities that broaden their horizons and bring career goals into focus. One standout example is November 2024’s NYC Finance Trek, where 25 Isenberg students with a passion for finance visited top firms like BNP Paribas, Crescent Capital, and Primary Wave for an inside look at the finance sector.

The Isenberg Internship Fund

With need-based awards of up to $5,000, the Isenberg Internship Fund helps remove financial barriers that too often stand in the way of meaningful learning. Students can accept internships that require relocation and housing without having to worry about affording these expenses.

Bridging Industry and Academia

The Isenberg Insurance Academy is transforming the way students learn about one of the world’s most dynamic industries by providing students with hands-on experience, case-based training, and industry mentorship in partnership with top firms including Arbella, Travelers, and Liberty Mutual. Your support has provided students with opportunities including site visits to the headquarters of several top firms, networking events, and special academic projects.

Helping Students Dress for Success, at No Cost

The Professional Wardrobe Closet seeks to tackle the widespread issue of clothing insecurity by providing students in Isenberg and the greater UMass Amherst campus with new and gently used attire to help them prepare for interviews, internships, presentations, networking events, and even graduation—completely free of charge. During the 2024-25 academic year, the Closet supported nearly 200 students.

Teaching Through Technology

Funded by a $1.6 million commitment from John F. Kennedy ’76 MSBA, Isenberg’s Technology Sandbox is setting students up for success in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape by providing access to emerging tools like augmented and virtual reality. The Sandbox, opened in spring 2024, allows teachers to enrich the learning experience in new, experience-driven ways.

Sustaining Faculty Excellence

Fostering an environment where faculty can do their best work creates a ripple effect, fueling student success, driving research breakthroughs, and amplifying Isenberg’ s impact on the business world. Recent donor support has allowed Isenberg to more than triple its endowed and titled faculty positions over the past decade, from 9 in 2015 to 28 in 2025.

The Senior Gift Campaign

The Senior Gift Campaign is an annual, student-led tradition that builds a lasting culture of philanthropy while funding a meaningful project that will make its mark on Isenberg for years to come. In 2025, nearly 1,000 graduating seniors (82 percent) made a contribution to the Senior Class Gift.

UMassGives 2025

UMassGives 2025 was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when the Isenberg community comes together. In just two days, over 900 members of the Isenberg community united to raise $1,053,271 in support of the school.

Strengthening Isenberg’s Endowment

Isenberg’s endowment continues to serve as a vital source of long-term financial strength for the school. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, our endowment has grown significantly over the past five fiscal years, from $75.7 million in FY21 to $116.9 million in FY25. As it grows, so does our impact on our community.
