Professional and Executive Development 101: Preparing YOU for recruitment and your career (sponsored by Macy's)

Are you preparing for a job search this semester?  Are you looking for ways to stand out amongst your peers?  Are you looking for direct feedback on your resume, personal brand, or professional presentation skills?  These are all normal questions you should be asking yourself, and now there is a session just for you.  Come join the Macy’s executive team as we come to campus to help YOU with everything you need to be prepared for your job/internship search.  Join Macy’s human resources, recruiters, and executives as we give hands on advice on anything you need.  This session will be based around your needs and by the end of our hour session you will have some direct feedback on things you can do to stand out at any career event.  Some examples on what will be covered are:

1. Dress for success: How to make a great first impression
2. Handshakes: What does your handshake say about you?
3. 30 second personal brand pitches (elevator pitches): How to sell yourself in less than 1 minute
4. Resume review: What do recruiters look for?
5. Interview tips/mock interviewing: How to interview and lock in the job
6. And anything else you might look for/need from our team!
