Innovation Challenge Minute Pitch Application Deadline

Do you have an idea or product? Looking for the basics, exposure, and mentors? The UMass Innovation Challenge competitive events are designed to help and reward UMass students and young alumni who want to pursue a novel business idea and develop it into a marketable product.

Format:

5:00 - Registration and Networking with Mentors

5:20 - Opening statements by the Berthiaume Center’s Director Bill Wooldridge

5:30 - Pitches begin! Each team has one minute to pitch their business ideas to the four judges

6:15 - The Five Finalists announced

6:30 - “Shark Tank” style Q&A for the Final Five

7:00 - Judges deliberate while teams get feedback from mentors and the audience networks

7:15 - The top three teams are announced and awarded

The deadline to apply for the Pitch Competition on October 26th is October 17th.
