Dean's Lunchtime Chat: Sustaining Faculty Excellence
Virtual
The foundation of any great business school is its faculty, and we consider ours to be our greatest asset. Dean Massey will take this opportunity to chat about how we can work together to retain and recruit the best teachers and scholars and support their research and teaching activities.
We’ll talk about how Isenberg is prioritizing recruiting top professors from around the world, and about how faculty research makes an impact on the business world and society and advances our curriculum. Dean Massey will be joined by some of our outstanding faculty members:
- Elizabeth Miller, PhD coordinator and marketing professor, will share some of her recent pandemic-related research.
- David Tyler, associate professor in the sport management department, will break down sport rivalries like the Red Sox/Yankees divide from the perspective of an academic researcher.
- David Piercey, professor and chair of the accounting department, will tell us how Isenberg’s investments in outstanding faculty members have affected his department.
We look forward to sharing some really exciting faculty projects with you!
