We are excited to announce the first talk in our Fall 2025 Speaker Series, "Rebuilding Crossroads of Ukraine: Bridging the Gap Between Damage, Recovery, and European Aspirations," organized by the UMass Amherst Student Chapter of INFORMS and its Faculty Advisor, Professor Anna Nagurney.
Dr. Oleh Nivievskyi is a Professor of Economics and one of the founders of the Center for Food and Land Use Research at the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE). Dr. Nivievskyi currently combines his professorship at KSE with a Siemens Research Fellowship at the Free University of Berlin. His research focuses on agri-food products, factor markets, and value chain analysis, as well as the impacts of agri-food regulatory policies. He is also interested in political economy and performance of local governance in Ukraine, EU integration, the impacts of conflicts, and post-war rebuilding and recovery, as well as the pricing and policies of transport services.
