Join the Isenberg Office of ACES for a professional development workshop featuring social media expert Zachary Watson and Professor Nilanjana "Buju" Dasgupta of the UMass Institute for Diversity Sciences. Together, they will explore the importance of recognizing invisible labor and mental load in higher education and how these often-overlooked responsibilities shape the experiences of faculty, staff, and other campus professionals.
Participants will learn what invisible labor is, examine its impact on daily workloads, classroom teaching, student engagement, and campus interactions, and discuss practical strategies for fostering more equitable and supportive learning and working environments. Additional program details will be shared as the event approaches.
