Brad Patrick has over 38 years of progressive experience in top-level business leadership, human resources, and communications positions. He is currently the Executive in Residence at the University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business and Economics and a Fellow at the James B. Beam Institute for Kentucky Distilling. These roles include co-developing and lecturing in the Strategic Human Resource Management and Analytics graduate program and the Distilled Spirits Council of the U.S. (DISCUS) executive leadership development program.
Further, Brad supports CEOs and executive teams in strengthening people and organization capabilities in change management, talent development and acquisition, and other performance enhancement strategies. His work focuses on business performance improvement, transformations, mergers and acquisitions integrations, and supporting business research initiatives.
Previously, he was Valvoline's chief people officer, based in Lexington, Kentucky. He has held executive leadership positions at Frito-Lay/PepsiCo, Delta Air Lines, The Gillette Company/Proctor & Gamble, Sara Lee Corporation, Tempur Sealy International, and Shearer's Snacks.
Brad earned his business degrees in Personnel and Industrial Relations and MBA from the University of Kentucky. He currently resides in Lexington, Kentucky.
