iSpeak@Isenberg : Public Speaking Workshop and Competition

Do you have what it takes to captivate an audience in just 3 minutes? This is your chance to showcase your public speaking skills, share your story, and compete for the top spot in front of an esteemed panel of judges, including our keynote speaker, leadership communication expert Barbara Roche!

Organized by the Graduate Business Association (GBA), this event is supported by Women for UMass Amherst (WFUM), who generously sponsored the competition to foster leadership and communication skills among Isenberg students.

The competition will take place on Friday, November 8th, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst. We’re looking for 20 talented speakers who are ready to rise to the challenge! Competition is open to Undergraduate and Graduate students of Isenberg School of Management.

What’s the Process?
Due to time constraints, we can only select a maximum of 20 participants. If we receive more applications than available spots, we’ll introduce a screening process to select the participants from the list of candidates who registered. So, make sure to apply early!
