As part of Homecoming Week here in the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management in the Isenberg School of Management, we are hosting a Young Alumni Panel on Thursday, November 2nd from 5:30PM to 6:45PM in Isenberg Case Study, Room 108. Please come and hear about the experiences our former students and now alumni are having as they start their professional careers. 

This year’s panel includes:

Topics will include: 1)  Work Life Balance – What’s It Really Like in the Transition from College to Working Life;  2)  Negotiation – Salary and Benefits – Money and Happiness; 3)  Leadership Concepts and Applications – Developing Leadership Skills; 4)  Training/Starting the New Job – Practical and Emotional; 5)  Courses – Applications to the Workforce – Classes That Helped at UMass; and 6) How to Make the Most of Your Years on Campus.

We also hope to structure the panel for free time in open discussions on topics specific to their places of employment and transitioning into their specific workplace settings.
