The Spring Community Dialogue Seminar is designed to foster open, respectful, and effective conversations around important topics.

Join us for an interactive session on financial literacy and money management, where you’ll:

  • Explore strategies for meaningful and respectful dialogue about finances
  • Learn practical tools to strengthen your money management skills
  • Gain confidence in planning for your financial future
  • We are pleased to welcome Adam Ortiz, director of the UMass Amherst Office of Student Success, which oversees the Smart About Money (SAM) program. Adam will share resources, practices, and tools available on campus to help students succeed financially.

No prior knowledge or experience needed—just bring your curiosity and readiness to engage!

All sessions are open to students; faculty and staff are warmly welcome. Dinner and beverages will be provided.
