Big Interview: A Valuable New Resource for Isenberg Students

Recently the Chase Career Center rolled out Big Interview as its online suite for interview and career preparation resources and tutorials. “Big Interview places far greater emphasis on online interactive videos with interviewing and other career-focused activities,” notes Executive Director Nic Wegman.

While the new suite is framed around job interviews, its extensive, interactive tutorials and resources will allow students to better navigate complex situations including case, behavioral, video, and industry-specific interviews. “It’s a fully integrated teaching tool that will also seamlessly allow us to transfer and further adapt our own customized materials,” Wegman continues. In addition to empowering individual students, Big Interview will become indispensable in Isenberg’s career-focused course for sophomores and in career preparation modules within Isenberg’s online undergraduate program. And it will prove useful to many of Isenberg’s 20+ student clubs and associations with their own career development initiatives.  

As for interviewing itself, the platform merits its reputation as an industry leader. To that end, students will hone skills in interactive interviews targeting hundreds of industries and job titles. They will field interview questions sorted by skill set and competency. And with Big Interview’s modules and related materials, they will analyze job descriptions, dissect behavioral questions, build personal narratives, improve nonverbal communication, and master many other interview essentials.
