Our topic is a timely and rich one – we’ll be discussing one of our most important initiatives: Inspiring Innovation in Teaching and Learning. Making sure our students are ready for the cutting-edge systems and tools they’ll be using professionally means we have to continually upskill our faculty and keep our technology infrastructure current.

Dean Massey will be joined by some fantastic guests for this webinar and here are some of the topics they will cover:

- Gregory Thomas, Executive Director of the Berthiaume Center for Entrepreneurship, will share a demo of a platform that enables true virtual interactions. We’re piloting the tool this semester with some student clubs, and expect to get it into classrooms in the near future.

- Shirley Shmerling and Pam Trafford are two members of the inaugural class of Isenberg Teaching Fellows. Since being named to this special team last spring, the fellows have been developing solutions to some of the instructional challenges that came with pandemic restrictions, and they have been helping our full faculty integrate technology into their teaching more effectively. They’ll talk about the innovations they’ve seen emerging during this unusual year.

- We’re building a “technology sandbox” that will give students and faculty opportunities to experience tools that are just emerging in the corporate world.
