The Department of Finance at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst, is delighted to host the First Annual Isenberg School of Management Finance Conference on Friday, May 9, 2025.

Keynote Speaker: Bryan Kelly

Bryan Kelly is the Frederick Frank ’54 and Mary C. Tanner Professor of Finance at the Yale School of Management and Head of Machine Learning at AQR Capital Management. He is also a Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Associate Director of Yale SOM’s International Center for Finance. Professor Kelly’s primary research fields are asset pricing, machine learning, and financial econometrics.

If you wish to attend the conference dinner the fee is $50 per guest. To register, please follow the link included in the conference registration confirmation email. 

Lodging

The Hotel UMass is conveniently located on the Amherst campus and a number of rooms have been held at a special rate of $179 per night for Thursday 5/8 and $269 per night for Friday 5/9. Book your room before April 10th to take advantage of these special rates (while rooms remain).
