EDUCATION AND TRAINING (Computer Project)

In partnership with Into Africa Safari and local foundations and non-profit organizations, Isenberg's goal is to establish a computer lab in thirty local high schools in the greater Kruger Park region. In May of 2019, we will contribute four new labs, enabling us to reach a total of ten computer labs established by the Isenberg School of Management. We are gratefully accepting used laptops* and will clear them prior to departure. As long as they work, we will put them to good use!

NATURE AND CONSERVATION (Black Mamba Project)

In South Africa, students meet the Black Mamba Anti-Poaching Unit. The objectives of the Black Mamba's are to protect rhinos through boots on the ground efforts and by acting as role models in their communities. Black Mambas want their communities to understand that the benefits of rhino conservation are greater than poaching, and are committed to protecting the wildlife, educating their communities, and instilling pro-environmental values. We will donate additional computers to support this organization.

WELFARE AND SUSTAINABILITY (Ekhuruleni Center for Orphans and Vulnerable Children and South African Medical Expeditions)

In previous years, we delivered non-perishable food, bowls and silverware to the children at the Ekhuruleni Center for Orphans and Vulnerable Children. This past March, we returned to establish a veggie garden and donate a netted cover and water irrigation system to protect the crops. In May of 2019, we will return to donate tables and chairs so the children have a place to enjoy their meals. We will also paint the facilities to make them more child friendly and deliver other needed items, such as first aid kits. We will also establish contact with a neighboring orphanage and make a charitable donation of non-perishable food items.

Isenberg students have opened a GoFundMe account to raise funds for these projects and we are gratefully accepting donations. Every penny will go towards these causes, which we estimate at $5,000.   Visit the GoFundMe page & donate today!
